Who we are
Institute for Policy Research and Dialogue (IPRD) is an independent and non-partisan public policy research institute focusing on policy analysis and engaging academicians and policy practitioners in the policy dialogue using a multidisciplinary approach with the aim if contributing to developing better policy-making for the well-being of human life.
Research and Analysis
IPRD Institute aims to contribute research and analysis on policy reforms in governance and peacebuilding including democratization, federalization, and constitution-making process as well as conflict resolutions; security; social justice, health and social protection and economic development; Resilience programs including Water, environment and climate changes, agricultural production energy and technology. The institute produces several publications to present all aspects of research and reforms such as research, policy briefs, analysis, policy reports, and Horn Insights.
Monitoring and Evaluations
Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities aim to determine whether expected results are being attained, to identify implementation bottlenecks, and to identify any unplanned impacts of a policy, program, or project and to take corrective actions. In addition, M &E Plan will employ a result-based approach and evidence-based descriptions to develop a holistic plan and increase the ownership and engagement of the stakeholders.
Graduate Education, Capacity Building and Executive Training
The IPRD Institute aims to develop an interdisciplinary graduate program focusing on policy, research, and reform. It aims to offer graduate education, training courses, and executive training seminars to enhance the capacity-building and technical skills of policy practitioners.
Policy Development
IPRD Institute develops policy documents that define policy problems and outlines alternative solutions as well as identifies the implementation plan, the cost-benefit analysis, the communication plan, and the monitoring and evaluation plan.
